Volunteer on one of our teams coordinating a key function of our operation.
Currently, we have openings on the following teams:
- Service Coordinators work a 3-hour morning or afternoon shift usually once weekly during our office hours, Monday thru Friday. Service coordinators play an important role taking calls and entering service requests into our online system. This role requires use of your own computer and phone and requires training on our easy to use village software recordkeeping system. The good news about this virtual role is that you can do it from your home! All you need is a positive attitude, good organization skills and moderate proficiency using a computer, email and mobile phone.
- Membership Interviewers visit potential members in their home to conduct an interview for those who wish to join B2SN as well as to determine eligibility for our services. There are typically 3-5 pairs of volunteers who perform this role on an as needed basis. This role requires 2-4 hours per month.
- Website/Technology Team insures that B2SN’s website/village application and other technology used is current and meets the needs of the various teams. This role requires 2-4 hours per week. Skills include occasional training of volunteers to use the village software and troubleshooting issues as needed. Best part is ensuring the tools available are helpful.
Service Delivery Volunteer Roles
Service Delivery volunteers work directly with our members by providing services like rides to appointments, home and garden tasks, friendly or respite visits and technology support. This is a very flexible role! You can select the member services from our daily service request list that fit into your schedule.
